Worms at Work – a 20 day time lapse video

Want good organic soil for your gardening?  A cheap and efficient way to do this is to do your own vermicomposting, a process of using composting worms to make your own compost.  Not only is it an economical way to get good organic soil, it also helps to reduce your household waste at the landfill and a good way to help to green the planet.

This is a time lapse video and also article  from Rodale Organic Life about vermicomposting. Fascinating to watch how the worms work.  It also contain a video teaching you how to start a worm box inexpensively at home.  If you love to garden, this is something that you might get into doing.  I made two worm boxes, one of red wigglers, and the other of European Red Worms, and I am having fun doing it now.  I will do a video in the near future of how I did it.  It is a little bit different from how they did it in the following site, but same principle.  Meanwhile, enjoy watching this and if you want to read the article, here’s the link also.
