Straw Bale Gardening

This has nothing to do with my Garden Towers, but my best friend and I started a straw bale garden at her house, since I live in a condo and it make sense to grow the climbing and spawling veggies with more space.  She was kind enough to let me have half of her gardening space, and we help each other out.  Here’s a picture of it.  Straw bale conditioned, seedlings planted, all ready to go!  On one side I planted 3 kinds of cucumbers, lima beans, marbled beans and pole beans.  On the other side, I planted cantaloupes, water melons and bittler melons.  Keeping our fingers crossed, as it is our first time doing bale gardening.IMG_2335
