Worm Farm

Making Mini Worm Farms For Cheap

Uncle Jim’s Worm Farm had a sale last weekend of “buying 500 European Night Crawlers and get 1000 Red Wigglers Free”. Well, I was setting up my 2nd GT2, so took the deal. That is a lot of worms, oh my!!! Put some in my GT2 #2, added some in my GT2 #1 outdoors, and I am still ending up with a lot left. So, I figure since I am going to Seattle soon to visit my daughter, and I am giving a GT2 for her as a birthday present, I might as well save the worms. So, in order to keep the worms alive, and not have to dig into my two GT2 later, I made myself 2 worm farms, one for each kind of worms. I know you can buy worm farm unit online, but they cost almost a hundred dollars each. Mine only cost $6 each homemade!! I figure I will give my daughter one complete with worms when I drive up to visit her. The pictures below show my dog Ling Ling is really intrigue with what’s is in those boxes.  🙂
