Las Vegas temperature these days reached 115F – 118F almost everyday these two weeks. Even the lowest temperature is consistantly above 100F. Last night’s temperature at 10 pm was 106F. While I am melting, surprisingly the Swiss Chard, the eggplant, and the curly Kale, the aloe plant are surviving and prospering in my tower. However, all other stuff are just dying or struggling. I hate to think how the worms are dealing with it.
On the other hand, my strawbale garden is doing wonderfully. I have beets, eggplant, lemon cucumber, cantaloupe, zucchini and water melon and they are all doing well. I am on my way to my friend’s house to check on them and will post some pictures later.
